I ran a recent vkernel as documented in the "examples" section  
https://leaf.dragonflybsd.org/cgi/web-man?command=vkernel&section=ANY

Then I ran a nonsense command:
# yes "expected 9993 actual 9993"

and saw lines like

> expected 9993 actual 9993
> expected 9993 actual 9993expected 9993 actual 9993
> expected 9993 actual 9993

I wasn't able to reproduce this in qterminal (i.e. inside X windows, no 
vkernel).
