http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10145 ShebangAlias config directive - to keep to make CGI scripts more portable ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-08-18 14:35 ------- I know about the ScriptInterpreterSource Registry feature! I suggest the ShebangAlias feature, because it would really help us to make CGI scripts more portable. ShebangAlias feature would help webmasters & developers to keep their scripts (shebang line) unchanged through several platforms. If you use a lot scripts and you move to another platform ShebangAlias directive helps you (you may need to change shebang line of script). If you develop your scripts on a platform, then you put online on another platform, this feature also helps much. I know there are alternate solutions, like ScriptInterpreterSource Registry, or linking under Unix systems, but ShebangAlias directive is a general solution right in Apache. Anyway my opinion is, it would be a helpful feature. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
