http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14555 Cannot stop Apache Server ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-12-22 12:27 ------- I see the same with Apache 2.0.43 on Win98SE (no PHP installed yet). Installing/uninstalling as a service works, starting the service from de commandline or at system start works. Stopping or restarting the service doesn't work. The "Apache Monitor" application shows "running status" correct, but start/stop/restart buttons don't work. When I use Adamant Procmon from http://adamant.n3.net/ it shows a hidden 2nd apache proces. The only way I can shutdown apache is by killing *both* processes with Procmon. (The hidden extra process is the reason why the standard Windows Task Manager can't kill the program.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
