http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16142 MUST use strong comparison for Range requests Summary: MUST use strong comparison for Range requests Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: HEAD Platform: All URL: http://coad.measurement-factory.com/cgi- bin/coad/GraseInfoCgi?session=bug&info_id=test_clause/rf c2616/rangedIfCmp OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: Other Component: mod_cache AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Looks like a possible RFC 2616 MUST violation. Note that LMT is weak in this context because it is less than 60 seconds apart from Date. The initial severity was elevated from "normal" because the bug may cause content corruption in clients/caches that merge ranged responses. While slightly different rules apply to origin servers, the Apache origin server probably has the same kind of problem. There are no Co-Advisor traces to prove that. See attached trace(s) for details and ways to reproduce the violation mentioned above. Test case IDs in the trace link to human-oriented test case description and RFC quotes, if available. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
