http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16390 Directory listing fails on some directories Summary: Directory listing fails on some directories Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.0.44 Platform: PC URL: http://http://sporco.no-ip.com OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: Other Component: Build AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I use apache mainly to access my home computer files from wherever i go. I dont use html pages, therefore a generated directory listing is best for me. But some directories with a lot of items or subdirectories in them don't generate. Instead, Internet Explorer tells me "The page cannot be displayed", and my server error log states: [Fri Jan 24 05:05:20 2003] [warn] (OS 64)The specified network name is no longer available. : winnt_accept: Asynchronous AcceptEx failed. It is important to note that if I access "http://localhost/" everything works perfectly fine. For instance: http://sporco.no-ip.com is my server and a root directory listing will fail. But try http://sporco.no-ip.com/wallpaper and the listing will work there. It seems almost as if on the failed directories that the listing begins to generate but then stops, and redirects IE to "The page cannot be displayed." Please keep in mind that this works perfectly fine on "localhost". Also, I do not have any .htaccess files anywhere in the failed directories, nor do I have any sort of Index.html files. This bug was reproduced in version 2.0.44 as well.
