I did not go in and look at files and sizes but when I did the usual Wintel reinstall process the 3rd time with a freshly downloaded .msi it worked. As I recall I tried doing a custom install the first two times and then did a default automatic install which did the trick the 3rd time. So, it may pay to look into the custom options install if you get more of these issues. All these installs were with the 2.0.44 .msi with no ssl and not checked by mp5/rsa keys.
