http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18140 Apache and McAffe virus scan hang Windows [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-04-08 06:38 ------- This has been reported multiple times - I'm honestly sick of looking up the number. McAfee doesn't play by the rules of WinSock and there isn't (much) we can do for you. I'm marking INVALID - you can find the other reports easily enough searching this bugzilla database. However, some small changes were made in .45 that could help you - you might try upgrading to bugfixed mcafee software + apache 2.0.45. Finally, the next release may contain a WindowsUseAcceptEx or WindowsSocketsWorkaround directive to cripple Apache to Windows 95 semantics, to try blowing past these sorts of buggy firewall/antivirus/vpn filters. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
