apache segfault on restart

           Summary: apache segfault on restart
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.45
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi,

when doing a "kill -HUP" on the main apache process, or the command "apachectl
restart", apache fails to restart with the error:

[Mon Apr 28 11:46:34 2003] [notice] SIGHUP received. Attempting to restart
[Mon Apr 28 11:46:35 2003] [notice] seg fault or similar nasty error detected in
 the parent process

As a result, one httpd process is running and listens to port 80, but gives no
documents back any more.

Apache compile rule:
./configure" --with-mpm=worker" --prefix=/opt/httpd-2.0.45" --enable-mods-
shared=all" --enable-ssl"

The extra module php is running on it as well.

Franky
