http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19416 time out ? Summary: time out ? Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.0.45 Platform: PC URL: http://www.ortv.com OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: support AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I am hunting a problem more than one month, ... I hope I can get a hint from the developers, since forum and mailing lists did not had any clue. The system: PC with SuSE Linux 8.0 and kernel 2.4.20 Apache 2.0.45 PHP-3.2RC1 MySQL 4.0.12 The software: PHPnuke 6.5 The server works correct, when data are updated on the same LAN. After testing we moved the server to the server co-location place and now we cannot add LONG stories, cannot change preferences (of PHPnuke). Since nothing has been changed - except the IP address it is very hard to narrow down. I believe that we get a timeout when we try to change / add data, but I cannot find any variable what I could set to overcome this. As shorter the new article as more sure it will be taken, if the article gets longer, it might be that we need just to submit the article several times, and it will be taken. I think the flow of the data is: editor site --> apache 2.0 --> php --> mysql If the data are not taken, than the next home page will be displayed without any delay, which makes me think that the (possible) timeout is in apache. Till last week I was the only one with that problem, but today I found in nuke4newbie, nukeforum also other people experiencing the same problem. Any hints are highly appreciated! --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
