http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21000 HostnameLookups do not work with Apache 2.0 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-06-23 14:02 ------- Thanks for the quick feedback. Hopefully your OS vendor can figure out why the test program doesn't work on your box. I'm marking this as invalid since there isn't anything to fix in Apache or apr. The work-arounds include, at least, specifying IPv4 address on Listen statement or adding --disable-ipv6 to configure invocation. (Since getnameinfo() works on IPv4 address, there is no need to edit apr_private.h and pretend that the system doesn't have getnameinfo().)
