Fixed in 2.1. mod_speling recognizes the Acceptpathinfo setting for the 
particular 
location and rejects path info by default. 
 
It's not really critical (you may set up workarounds, like Redirects and/or 
RewriteRules) 
so it's unlikely to be backported to the 2.0 stable branch.
