http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24151 JSP page relative to DocumentRoot as Directory Index does not work : Directories are listed Summary: JSP page relative to DocumentRoot as Directory Index does not work : Directories are listed Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.0.47 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: Other Component: All AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I put a jsp page, relative to the DocumentRoot as my directory index. It does not display that page, rather it shows the directories under the DocumentRoot. I am using Tomcat 4.1.27 as the WebContainer, which is connected to Apache via mod_jk.so/dll. My configuration is as follows : DocumentRoot C:\Projects\STK11 <Directory "C:\Projects\STK11"> DirectoryIndex jsp/Login.jsp I got the directories under STK11, instead of Login.jsp. DirectoryIndex as /jsp/Login.jsp, also has the same problem. In addition to these, I have configurations with respect to mod_jk, which is simply an "Include" statment. I have precompiled classes in "WEB-INF" directory, where I have the compiled Login.jsp file. Note: 1.If I am putting a html page as the directory index, it displays the page independent of the location(though still relative to DocumentRoot.) 2. If Login.jsp is put in the DocumentRoot (in addition to under <DocumentRoot>\jsp directory), I am able to see the Login.jsp page!!! 3. If "/jsp/<SPACE>/Login.jsp" is given, although this page comes, it takes a lot of time to load. Hence I think, it is not taking the precompiled classes. This issue happens in all the platforms, Windows, SOLARIS, LINUX. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
