http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24442 UseCanonical enhancement Summary: UseCanonical enhancement Product: Apache httpd-1.3 Version: 1.3.28 Platform: All OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: core AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I see this bug report: http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8625 I too am having issues with UseCanonical for serveraliased sites. In order for my redirects to use the Host header, I have to set UseCanonical to Off. But setting UseCanonical to off forces the use of the internal port number... We use a load balancer, and must run apache on different ports for some SSLed sites. UseCanonical off: Location: http://a.a.com:4014/hello/ ; right server alias, wrong port UseCanonical on: Location: http://www.a.com/hello/ ; right port, incorrect serverAlias I want a new flag added to UseCanonical: UseCanonical ServerPortOnly Or a less indirect way, pass the servername or port to use to UseCanonical: UseCanonical :80 This enhancement will use the Host header and the Port Directive value. UseCanonical :80 Location: http://a.a.com/hello/ ; right port, right serverAlias --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
