http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20382 Poor performance on W2000 AS ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-11-14 20:16 ------- As pointed out in the [EMAIL PROTECTED] discussion thread, it stinks but we cannot sendfile and either; * come back after a network timeout, or * determine the (arbitrary) amount of data sent. It seems the WinSock API and TransmitFile are lacking for some means of neatly honoring socket timeout parameters in a faux-blocking mode. Suggestions and contributions welcome, provided they continue to honor the timeout to prevent the obvious resulting DoS if TransmitFile is not timed out. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
