http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24831 Caching confused by 304 Summary: Caching confused by 304 Product: Apache httpd-1.3 Version: HEAD Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Other AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Forwarding Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=140565 According to the tcpdump presented at the above URL, IIS is sending a 304 response with a Content-Length: of 0. This causes Apache to cache a zero-sized object. While IIS's behaviour does violate a MUST NOT, I think Apache could handle this situation better. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
