http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=26177 apache breaks when started from inetd and an Include <onedir> is specified Summary: apache breaks when started from inetd and an Include <onedir> is specified Product: Apache httpd-1.3 Version: 1.3.29 Platform: PC URL: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=225634 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: Other Component: core AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi all, skipping the usual discussion about the fact that inetd is not suggested, the bug described in the URL applies to also to non-ssl connections. It has been verified on 3 machines with 3 different setups. Default debian packages, apache compiled from source on a Debian (sid) box and on a RH8.0 with apache compiled from source. How to reproduce: configure apache to start from inetd and verify that pages are served correctly mkdir /etc/apache/foo add to httpd.conf: Include /etc/apache/foo telnet localhost 80 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to gundam. Escape character is '^]'. Processing config directory: /etc/apache/foo The problem is that apache prints that line for no reason. Thanks a lot!
