http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=27399 Problem with HTTPD_ROOT Summary: Problem with HTTPD_ROOT Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.0.48 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Build AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The first time I had installed the server apache 2.0.48, I had compiled with the directive "--prefix=/usr/local/httpd-2.0.4". This server works fine now. Now I want to re-install another instance on the same machine in another root directory or in the directory by defauft '/usr/local/apache2'. All is ok during compile, make and make install operations. The second instance is correctly installed to the second directory. The problem is that the new server wants always to use the old root directory to find his files. If I run the command '/usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -V -k start', I obtain the informations below : Server version: Apache/2.0.48 Server built: Feb 2 2004 17:45:21 Server's Module Magic Number: 20020903:4 Architecture: 32-bit Server compiled with.... -D APACHE_MPM_DIR="server/mpm/prefork" -D APR_HAS_SENDFILE -D APR_HAS_MMAP -D APR_HAVE_IPV6 (IPv4-mapped addresses enabled) -D APR_USE_SYSVSEM_SERIALIZE -D APR_USE_PTHREAD_SERIALIZE -D SINGLE_LISTEN_UNSERIALIZED_ACCEPT -D APR_HAS_OTHER_CHILD -D AP_HAVE_RELIABLE_PIPED_LOGS -D HTTPD_ROOT="/usr/local/httpd-2.0.48" -D SUEXEC_BIN="/usr/local/httpd-2.0.48/bin/suexec" -D DEFAULT_PIDLOG="logs/httpd.pid" -D DEFAULT_SCOREBOARD="logs/apache_runtime_status" -D DEFAULT_LOCKFILE="logs/accept.lock" -D DEFAULT_ERRORLOG="logs/error_log" -D AP_TYPES_CONFIG_FILE="conf/mime.types" -D SERVER_CONFIG_FILE="conf/httpd.conf" Does anybody has an idea ?
