Yes, if you are simply building from source, this will not be an issue.

My points are:
 - you have to coordinate all third-party custom modules
   (e.g. all prorietary modules must be built on either all pre-.NET or 
all .NET _if_ they share CRTL resources)
  - It is not so easy to recognize this problem if you have not heard about it 
before
