http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=30171 RewriteRule: force external redirection is not automatic for non-SSL (http://) access ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-07-18 14:56 ------- The access log shows as follows: [18/Jul/2004:22:45:50 +0800] 192.168.1.2 TLSv1 DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA "GET / HTTP/1.1" 302 318 "http://www.apple.com/" [18/Jul/2004:22:46:44 +0800] 192.168.1.2 - - "GET /" 302 318 "http://www.apple.com/" [18/Jul/2004:22:46:44 +0800] 192.168.1.2 - - "GET /" 302 318 "http://www.apple.com/" Yes, status code and location is the same in both cases. Please note: https://mail.someDomain.com:55000/ logs one line http://mail.kandy.com:55000/ logs two lines I changed the RewriteRule to "https://mail.otherDomain.com/". The result is still the same. The non-SSL (http://) does not auto redirect, https:// works. Therefore, it shows it's not due to changing the protocol across a redirect. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
