Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.0.50 Platform: PC OS/Version: FreeBSD Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Runtime Config AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The Following format of the VirtualHost directive causes a errorless startup failure in httpd. <VirtualHost 192.168.0.18> The conf file this was in worked for 2.0.49 but would quietly fail under 2.0.50. The command apachectl start would take only a fraction of a second to return the prompt. No messages on the console, nothing in the logs. This was fixed with the following: <VirtualHost 192.168.0.18:80> One would think I failed to... Listen 80 But one would be wrong in doing so. Not to forget this same conf worked under .49. It may be something silly, or it could be that the format wasn't legal and .50 set things straight. Never the less I thought I should mention it. Should you need the conf file please email me.
