http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10890 if "et" locale is used, configure fails ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-07-30 14:53 ------- I've noticed a similar problem under FreeBSD, using a German locale. The src/Configure script used to create things like #ifdef ĂšNISUD_H where it was supposed to create #ifdef UNISTD_H It turned out that using tr '[a-z]' '[A-Z]' appears to be only a valid assumption in the "C" locale. IMHO, tr '[:lower:]' '[:upper:]' should always be preferred if available. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
