I have the DNS settings set correctly as suggested below, my patches are up to date, there's no firewall on the machine, all of that stuff. This is a highly clustered system with external firewalls and switches and stuff for a fortune 100 company, not a machine behind a DSL firewall. I do not know if they are related, but I also see many problems with mod JK failing.
