http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21348 windowsupdate-site over proxy failed ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-08-17 23:42 ------- Windows Update is the site that Microsoft Windows computers connect to for software updates. The current site is: http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ But many people are now on: http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ Unfortunately, you have to connect with Internet Explorer to perform the updates. Connecting through mod_proxy to windows update fails. Squid, the caching web proxy software, works correctly with Windows Update. Is there some debugging or tcp/ip level logging that would be useful for your purposes that I could perform? I meant to attach the previous comment to bug 18757. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
