http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17717 Zombie/Waiting states OpenBSD ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-09-10 15:29 ------- Hi again, there was a little bug.... I'm sorry, but here is the correction. (By the same anonymous student) ______________________________________________________________________ I was wrong, it seems to have nothing to do with ipv6. The problem(at least the "connect to listener" errors, which eventually lead to the zombies I believe) occurs, when Listening on all ip- Addresses e.g. with "Listen 0.0.0.0:80" or "Listen ::1:80" in the config. It doesn't seem to matter if its IPv4 or IPv6. I was fooled before, because our server was configured to listen only on some IPv4-Addresses(but on all IPv6-Addresses at port 443) from the beginning. The "connect to listener" messages don't occur, when every ip-address, the server should listen to, is explicitly specified in a Listen- Directive. Even if all ip-Addresses(including Loopback), which the server has, are specified no "connect to listener" messages occur. ___________________________________________________________________________ I hope we have not wasted to much of your time.
