http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24331 SSLPassPhraseDialog exec: always default port in argv ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-09-14 19:36 ------- My comment was a bit terse. I should elaborate a bit further. The behavior I have experienced is that my script does not get called with any arguments. No hostname or port number. So if I had multiple IP's and multiple hostnames on port 443, they would not work either. I have compiled apache 2.0.50 with openssl 0.9.6m on AIX 5L. I have verified it with the following script, my work around is simply echo out the password. I have this same script in place on a server using Apache 1.3.27 with multiple virtual hosts on port 443. I only have more cases in my case statement. # ===== BEGIN = script PATH=''; export PATH; OPT=$1 # NOTE: It is best output this password without a newline. # This can be different on many operating systems. # # Solaris use: /usr/ucb/echo -n "<password>" # AIX use: /usr/bin/echo "<password>\c" # Linux use: /bin/echo -n "<password>" # #kms 08/17/2004 - used for debugging. /usr/bin/echo "OPT:[$OPT]">>/usr/local/scripts/apache/opt.log; /usr/bin/echo "password\c" exit; # #case $OPT in # # hostname.santized.com) # # /usr/bin/echo "password\c" # ;; # # *) # /usr/bin/echo "USAGE: $0 servername:port" # exit # ;; #esac # ===== END = script --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
