I attempted to duplicate on my server which is 1.3.33, and I was able to reproduce: Created a dummy file: primus# dd if=/dev/zero of=/usr/home/merlin/www.ghostwheel.com/htdocs/sizetest.bin bs=1048576 count=2560 2560+0 records in 2560+0 records out 2684354560 bytes transferred in 430.192793 secs (6239887 bytes/sec) Retrieved the headers for the test file using the perl lwp HEAD command: primus# HEAD http://www.ghostwheel.com/sizetest.bin 200 OK Connection: close Date: Tue, 02 Nov 2004 04:09:10 GMT Accept-Ranges: bytes ETag: "220820-a0000000-418706db" Server: Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) Content-Length: -1610612736 Content-Type: application/octet-stream Last-Modified: Tue, 02 Nov 2004 04:02:35 GMT Client-Date: Tue, 02 Nov 2004 04:09:10 GMT Client-Peer: 66.118.178.74:80 Client-Response-Num: 1 I did search through the bug db, and noticed that this one was opened over a year ago. As storage gets cheaper files get larger this bug will appear to end users more often; so I felt it worthwhile to update this bug entry. -Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
