httpd segfaults when called from apachectl and LD_PRELOAD is used.

If it works without the LD_PRELOAD go with that; the segfault looks like random
memory corruption so it could be some genuine httpd/apr-util/OpenLDAP bug which
is just getting triggerred by chance but it's hard to tell.

BTW I think it's still recommended to not use gcc -O3, -O2 is "safer".
