http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34009 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-03-14 18:17 ------- I noticed that the problem goes away (as far as I could test) if I rise the first value (soft limit) to 10MB. The second value (hard limit) does not seem to count. RLimitMEM 5000000 15000000 doesn't work RLimitMEM 10000000 15000000 works So now I (hastily) conclude that either the scripts really do need that much memory (unlikely when looking at what they do, though) and the limits were not enforced up to 2.0.53 or somehow mmap borks or another behaviour changed in 2.0.53 (found nothing in the changelog) or somehow the hard limit gets set to the soft limit [tbc] /m -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
