I told you what the bug is and how to work around it in apache. 
 
Please read the section on chunked encoding in RFC2616.  There's nothing 
random about those numbers. 
 
It would be a bug for a proxy to send those in response to an HTTP/1.0 
request, since an HTTP/1.0 client may not accept them.  But your client 
advertised itself as HTTP/1.1
