I was confused because it patches protocol.c. Joe, seems reasonable to me to fix this in ap_filter_flush. What should be the approach? Destroy the bucket brigade if ap_pass_brigade does not return APR_SUCCESS? Or should we only remove and destroy the transient bucket (this seems a bit tricky to me and I am currently very unsure about the sideeffects)? BTW: I would guess that this problem also occurs on the trunk.
