I think it's a great idea and I hope it sticks. One thing I would like to see added to the documentation is a note stating that mod_dumpio sends its output to the ErrorLog using LogLevel debug. If you have configured your server for LogLevel warn (the default), then DumpIOInput On and DumpIOOutput On will have no effect.
