See the bug " Bugzilla Bug 138359 mod_proxy ignores abortion of downloads" in the link "https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=138359"; for details. It is found that the problem is solved in httpd-2.0.46-54.1. This distribution is available at http://people.redhat.com/jorton/Taroon-httpd/ The later versions of Apache (later to httpd-2.0.46-54.1) doesn't have the patch. Why is the patch not included in the later versions? How far will the patch effect the current releases of Apache?
