http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40231 Summary: XML style configuration Product: Apache httpd-2 Version: 2.3-HEAD Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Core AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello, It is a feature request. It would be great and very convenient to have all config files in pure xml format. Current configuration format of virtual host is something similar to xml. But it would be much more convenient for users to have configuration (at least of virtual hosts) in pure xml format. It is very convenient to have configuration in xml files because xml can be easily parsed and generated if necessary. Can we expect to have xml configuration available for httd? And if so when this can be possible?
