Brian: Were you using "worker"? > I was using prefork, but for some reason I can't reproduce the exiting process problem now...it's spinning in the CPU with EAGAINs like with 2.0.59 this time (I rebuilt from pristine source). I must have done something else that time and don't remember what. I didn't encounter a fork-bomb, but in 2.0.55/worker at least (where I first started investigating this) it ate all the memory of the system, which hung it pretty quick.
