ok, i just downloaded 2.2.4 from apache lounge and installed it.  (there
compile)  I get the same messages when starting the service:

in addition, when i start from the command line, apache starts fine, but when
exiting, orphans the rotatelogs.exe    This is what I saw before......this is
pretty bad, ....isn't it?
