About the patch... I suggest you reattach your file as a patch (using diff or svn diff against httpd-2.2) in plain text instead of a zip file. Adding binary attachments to a bug means the developers with limited time end up spending that time on every bug with text patches that are easily identifed, and unfortunately ignore those that aren't viewable for consideration.
