Received from remote proxy: error: Socket read error. ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host => In the ssh log Jun 21 13:34:48 [sshd] Did not receive identification string from XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX I made this patch by porting the existing one for apache 2.2.2, and now it work for me.
