You should change the docs in Chapter 2.5 - when to use what: [quote]There is, however, one exception to this rule. Putting configuration restrictions in a <Location /> section is perfectly safe because this section will apply to all requests regardless of the specific URL.[/quote] Extend the Chapter 6.5 - Merging of .htaccess with the main configuration files, pointing out this very particular case.
