Here's the server.xml line: <Connector port="8009" enableLookups="false" redirectPort="8443" protocol="AJP/1.3" /> - i.e. no mention of APR. On the other hand, the tomcat stack trace started in: org.apache.coyote.ajp.AjpAprProcessor which sounds like an APR version of the connector.
