http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=43978 Summary: logfile filled with strange hostname "::1" Product: Apache httpd-2 Version: 2.2.6 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: mod_ssl AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I found my httpd_access.log filled with lines like: ::1 - - [26/Nov/2007:00:04:33 +0100] "GET /" 400 547 "-" "-" ::1 - - [26/Nov/2007:00:04:34 +0100] "GET /" 400 547 "-" "-" ::1 - - [26/Nov/2007:00:04:35 +0100] "GET /" 400 547 "-" "-" ::1 - - [26/Nov/2007:00:04:36 +0100] "GET /" 400 547 "-" "-" First I thought it was a DNS-problem, so I switched lookups off by setting "HostnameLookups Off" but the strange hostnames "::1" are still there. Also: why does "GET /" return 400? The homepage exists. Then I looked at when those logentries startet: it coincides with the time when I commented the line "<IfDefine SSL>" in ssl.conf to get ssl started automatically when I reboot the server. So I suppose those lines must have to do with ssl. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
