https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=44917
Summary: rotatelogs documentation outdated for "-l" option
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.3-HEAD
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: Documentation
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
In http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/programs/rotatelogs.html the documentation
for option "-l" says "Note that using -l in an environment which changes the
GMT offset (such as for BST or DST) can lead to unpredictable results!"
But the resolution of https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24417
by changeset http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=103973 indicates
that it is no longer unpredictable.
I am not sure exactly what versions/branches this would apply to, besides the
trunk.
