Summary: The CGI specification site is down
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.0-HEAD
          Platform: All
               URL: http://validator.w3.org/checklink?check=Check&hide_typ
                    e=all&summary=on&uri=http%3a%2f%2fhttpd.apache.org%2fd
                    ocs%2f2.0%2fenv.html
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Documentation
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

W3C Link Checker: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/env.html says:

Line: 97 http://cgi-spec.golux.com/

Status: 500 Can't connect to cgi-spec.golux.com:80 (connect: No route to host)

This is a server side problem. Check the URI.

I recommend importing that thing from Web archive (it is down since 2006) and
hosting a copy at Apache (since Apache HTTP daemon explicitly depends on it).
Alternatively Apache documentation could cease to mention the existence of the
document as a separate specification because this specification is private — it
is not endorsed by any standards body — and just describe things as their are
implemented.
My efforts to contact the domain owner of golux.com have been fruitless so far.
