                    wildcard
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.0.59
          Platform: HP
        OS/Version: HP-UX
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_proxy
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Hi,

we are using mod_proxy as an outbound proxy and we have a huge list of allowed
destination ports. Today we have to list each port and whenever we run into a
new business partner with a new port we have to go through the fancy SOX
process of getting that added to the production systems.

To us it would be very benefitial to be able to just add a wildcard after the
AllowCONNECT directivy to allow any destination port.

Thanks a lot and regards, Hanno
