Summary: LogLevel being ignored
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.3-HEAD
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: Core
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
The documentation located at
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#loglevel states:
'When logging to a regular file messages of the level notice cannot be
suppressed and thus are always logged. However, this doesn't apply when logging
is done using syslog.'
Output I want to suppress for example:
[Sun Mar 27 19:46:24 2011] [notice] Graceful restart requested, doing restart
[Sun Mar 27 19:46:24 2011] [notice] Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) mod_ssl/2.2.9
OpenSSL/0.9.8o configured -- resuming normal operations
This seems like a bug to me. Is it going to be resolved?
