You can see a garbled Japanese subject of an email posted by Maho NAKATA to
ooo-general-ja/AT/incubator.apache.org.
The subject thing is a known issue.
If you click the garbled subject, "Apache OpenOffice.org
=?iso-2022-jp?B?GyRCRnxLXDhsJWYhPCU2ITw4fiQxJWEbKEI=?=
=?iso-2022-jp?B?GyRCITwlaiVzJTAlaiU5JUgkSyREJCQkRhsoQg==?= ", you can see body
of the email.
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-ooo-general-ja/201111.mbox/%[email protected]%3E
You can see Japanese texts are garbled.
If you change the browser's assumed encoding to ISO-2022-JP, small parts of the
Japanese texts in the body look right but other parts are still garbled.
I tried "Unnamed text/plain" and "View raw message".
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-ooo-general-ja/201111.mbox/raw/%[email protected]%3E/
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-ooo-general-ja/201111.mbox/raw/%[email protected]%3E
And I manually changed the browser's assumed encoding to ISO-2022-JP.
Then all Japanese texts are readable.
