            Bug ID: 61233
Summary: running `apachectl --`will start apache
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.15
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: All
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

I was trying to check the version of may apache today, and I happened to use
'--version' for my parameter instead of '-version'. It ended up starting apache
on that machine. I later determined that simply entering `apachectl --` would
start apache. This behavior did not make sense to me so I figured I would
report it, so it does not happen to someone else.
