Bug ID: 62349
Summary: Adding ProxyHTMLLinks directive leads to "malformed" /
"corrupt" response (potentially due to proxying to
HTTPS location?)
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.4.33
Hardware: PC
OS: Mac OS X 10.1
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: mod_proxy_html

"Malformed" response
I'm attempting to set up a Proxy to pass to this website for requests to the
/uk subfolder...
https://www.schlutercoffee.com/
Setting the following directive in the vhost works OK
ProxyPass /uk https://www.schlutercoffee.com/
ProxyPassReverse /uk https://www.schlutercoffee.com/
However I'm trying to use mod_proxy_html to rewrite the links
Setting ProxyHTMLEnable On doesn't cause any issues, but as soon as I add the
ProxyHTMLLinks directive the response body after the proxy gets corrupt
ProxyHTMLLinks a href
I've included an attachment picturing the issue.
I'm wondering if there could be an issue with using mod_proxy_html when
proxying to an HTTPS location. E.g. it tries to rewrite the HTML before it
decrypts the response?
Please advise
