Thanks for the logs. 

It looks to me as if both requests (curl and chrome) were handled without error
by mod_proxy_http2. So, we would need to look at the connection between the
proxying Apache and Chrome to see if there is anything amiss.

Would you run the chrome request again with:

LogLevel http2:trace2
LogLevel proxy:trace2
LogLevel proxy_http2:trace2

and add  the log here? thanks.

Also, I noticed that you are running an older version of mod_proxy_http2. The
module had some significant changes last year.

What Apache from which distro are you running? Are you able to build a newer
version and test that?
