I concede this level of knowledge and analysis is beyond my capability. Based on your reply, concerning possble DSO unload/reload issues, is it worth cross posting your observations to the OpenSSL developers, for their consideration? As it stands the Apache Lounge has chosen to offer an alternative HTTPD 2.4.63 build with OpenSSL 3.3.2 for stability, as well as 3.4.0, on the basis there are people out there still running production systems on legacy platforms.
