I am running into an issue setting up my network adapter. I have a DLink DGE-530T (Rev B2), and I am having the following problems:
During install (4.9 & 4.8) when I try to setup the card using DHCP, the install locks up after displaying, "Issuing hostname-associated DHCP request for sk0" After install (skipping setup of the sk0 device) I tried to manually setup the card using DHCP (hostname.sk0) and it froze the box. The only error messages I have been getting are: "sk0: Cannot stop the transfer of Tx descriptors" "sk0: Cannot stop the transfer of Rx descriptors" after some more prodding, I noticed that dmesg shows the following: skc0 at pci4 dev 0 function 0 "D-Link DGE-530T B1" rev 0x11, Yukon Lite (0x9): apic 8 int 16 (irq 11) sk0 at skc0 port A: address 1c:00:b9:00:b4:00 sk0: phy failed to come ready sk0: no PHY found! which of course is not good, since I have the B2 rev, not B1 (and no PHY found) Is there a more recent driver I haven't found? Or is this a bug? Thanks in advance! -Andrew Wilson -- Who then shall I fear?
